Hi, I’m Alvin Reyes—a traveler, photography enthusiast, digital marketing professional, and lifelong observer of people and the world around me.
I was born and raised in the Philippines and now live in Montréal, Canada. Between those two places are many different chapters: family, work, travel, unexpected changes, difficult seasons, new beginnings, and lessons I could never have learned by staying in one place.
My journey has not followed a perfect or predictable path. But I have come to believe that life is not only about reaching a destination. It is also about how we respond to change, what we learn from our experiences, and who we become along the way.
How I See Life
I am naturally curious about what gives life meaning.
I think about happiness, success, relationships, purpose, identity, and the choices that shape us. I do not pretend to have all the answers. Much of what I believe continues to evolve as I experience more of life.
For me, a meaningful life is not necessarily the loudest or most impressive one. Meaning can be found in being present, caring for the people around us, remaining curious, and appreciating moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

Travel and Discovery
Travel has always been more than visiting a new destination. It gives me an opportunity to step outside what is familiar and see life from another perspective.
Every place has its own rhythm, character, and way of understanding the world. The most memorable parts of a journey are not always the famous attractions. Sometimes, they are quiet streets, unfamiliar conversations, unexpected detours, and small moments that stay with us long after we return home.
Travel reminds me that the world is vast, people are wonderfully different, and there is always more to learn.
Photography and the Art of Noticing
Photography teaches me to slow down.
Behind the camera, I become more aware of light, expression, movement, detail, and emotion. A photograph can preserve what something looked like, but the most meaningful images also remind us of how a moment felt.
I am drawn to photographs that tell honest stories—images of places, people, landscapes, and ordinary scenes that reveal something deeper when we take the time to notice them.
Photography is not simply about capturing life. It is a way of paying attention to it.
The Work I Do
My professional life is in digital marketing, business development, and business growth. My experience includes SEO, content strategy, lead generation, website development, client management, and operations.
Although work is only one part of who I am, it has taught me a great deal about people. Marketing is ultimately about understanding how people think, what they need, and what earns their trust. Working with different businesses and teams has also taught me the value of adaptability, communication, patience, and practical problem-solving.
These lessons often reach beyond work and influence how I understand life itself.
