Winter in Downtown Montréal: A January 2025 Photo Walk
In January 2025, I spent time walking through downtown Montréal with my camera. The cold weather, traces of snow, and soft winter light gave the familiar streets a different atmosphere.
I photographed tall buildings, busy intersections, storefronts, and ordinary moments of city life. Despite the freezing temperatures, downtown remained active as people continued with their daily routines.
Winter in Montréal can be challenging, but it also reveals another side of the city—quiet, dramatic, and beautiful in its own way. This simple January walk reminded me that every season offers something worth noticing and remembering.
