A Random Saturday Walk in Montréal: Fall Colours, Vintage Shops and Books
One Saturday in fall 2025, I went for a walk through Montréal with no particular destination in mind. The streets were lined with autumn leaves, colourful storefronts, vintage clothing, posters, and small details that made me stop and take photographs.
One of the highlights was discovering an independent bookstore filled with old books, artwork, and interesting objects. It had the kind of atmosphere that invites you to slow down, browse the shelves, and forget about time for a while.
There was nothing planned or extraordinary about the day—just walking, observing, and photographing whatever caught my attention. Sometimes, the best way to experience a city is to wander without an itinerary and remain open to what you might find.
